The Pauluskirche is located at Grabenstrasse 9, just 5 minutes walk from Bochum Central
Station, and directly adjacent to the underground/subway station Rathaus (lines U35, 302, 306,
310). The church's location is marked on the map below. We do strongly recommend that you
use public transport for travelling to church, especially since the tiny churchyard around
the Pauluskirche is unsuitable for parking cars
If you do travel to church by car, there is a limited number of free parking spaces near the
church at Bleichstrasse and Victoriastrasse (next to the Post Office), and a larger choice at
the market square just behind Bochum railway station, as well as on-street parking along
Ferdinandstrasse. Don't shy away from parking meters / ticket machines. Many of these are
free on Sundays in the city centre
Alternatively, some of the underground car parks directly in the city are also open on
Sundays - P2 beneath Dr-Ruer-Platz and P5 on Brückstrasse are open from 10-24 hrs on Sundays,
and P8, slightly farther away at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz / Bermuda Dreieck is open Sundays
round the clock from 0-24 hrs (the price for parking varies in these car parks from 0.80
to 1.10 Euro per hour).
Please check the official Bochum business and commerce association's website for up-to-date
details on parking facilities in the city-centre. The site is in German, but it provides
up-to-the-minute details on car park opening times, etc. ('Parken in Bochum'):
