Rev. Irene Bom, an Auxiliary Minister of the Church of Scotland, and a member of our Rotterdam sister congregation, will be leading a workshop on all-age worship and praise with our congregation in Bochum on the weekend of 13-14 February 2010.

The workshop will be held in the Kirchencafé, Große-Beck-Straße 12 (Saturday from 10 a.m. till mid-afternoon) and in the Pauluskirche (Saturday afternoon). All session are open to all members and friends of our church of all ages, from the very young to the very old.

The Saturday morning session will focus on building blocks (songs, prayers, atmosphere/worship space, tradition and renewal, community, etc.), and these will then be put together during the afternoon session for a specific service to be held on Sunday 14th February at our normal 12:30 hrs slot..

Irene's special commission from the Presbytery of Europe to support congregations in their youth and worship ministries has already involved her in workshops at the Scottish international churches in Brussels and Paris.
